Can I stick a Redfish??

The last time we took the flounder boat out we ran across several Redfish in the shallows within reach of our giggs. My question is: Is it lawfull to gig a Redfish? I've seen people stick Sheepsheads while Floundering, but I'm not sure about Redfish.

From the TPWD website:
Gig: Any hand-held shaft with single or multiple points, barbed or barbless.

• May be used to take NONGAME fish only.

It is not legal. You can't bowfish or gig 'gamefish' as defined by TPWD. Neither Sheepshead or Flounder are in the TPWD definition.

But I couldn't find the list of gamefish. Thanks for posting that up. Hmmm... shouldn't a flounder also be a gamefish? One of the big three, no?
