  • Galveston Bay 8/15

I took Pat and Larry out for a little bumpy ride in the bay today. Hit 3 spots and caught fish at each but had to fight the wind and waves. Larry boated the first of the day, a nice Red on a spinner.

Moved to the 2nd spot and I had a Black Drum and a couple of nice Specs

Then moved to the 3rd spot where Larry and I caught a few more.

Poor old Pat couldn't get a bite until we founds some dinks under the birds on the way back in.

All fish caught on plastics and released for another day. Boat ran great and it was nice to have Larry back out with us to celebrate his recent retirement.

    Good friends and Good Fishing!

We only saw 1 (Red) boat about a half of a mile away all morning.., other than the waves, made it a nice morning.

I fished over by Trinity and then some wells South of Tabbs. All in 8-9' with anything chartreuse being the best color for the bite.
