Does anyone know anything about a flatlander hull.

I looked at those boats 10+years ago, when I was shopping for a boat. Are they still even in business or did someone buy their molds? They had several models as I recall. What hull are you looking at?

I found one on cl that would be a pretty big project, its the 20.5 hull. On the old website they just called it the 20.5 flatlander.

          This is the hull?http://corpuschristi.craigslist.org/boa/3359811378.html

That one is a POS in my opinion, or at least more money & trouble than it would be worth for me.

Some guys like a project. For the right price, almost any fiberglass hull can be a rebuild. However, buying a "known hull form" can be a big step in the right direction.

Hulls that are no longer made are usually no longer made for a good reason.

Long ago, over a ten year period, I bought two different 16 ft. el Pescadors. Didn't learn the lesson with the first one. BOTH were too narrow to do their job properly. Lots of $$$ later, lesson learned. Rich
