  • Finally got a wade in

I finally got out with my little one for a wade this am. We jumped out right before sunup and got a few little blow ups before the sun came out. Once the sun came out, the fish turned on and I had blow ups and hook ups on every cast for about 45 minutes. After the fist hook up all the yaks crowded in on us so we couldn't move in any direction. After finishing off a limit of reds, we jumped back in the boat and ran looking for a few trout. We jumped out again and found a few trout but Camo got a little flustered by all the sting rays swimming around him so we got back in the boat and drifted a few reefs. Kept 3 reds, a trout and a puppy drum that I caught on a tail.
Surgery next week on the knee and then should be able to wade again in a couple of months.

Nice going on the Reds. I don't blame your son for not wanting to join the stingrays.
I see lots of them at times when gigging.
