I skipped out of the office around 11 and made a run to the bait camp. I spent most of the afternoon messing around in the marsh. I spooked a number of fish but didn't see much active feeding. Tide was pretty still and low from midday until late pm.
The wind laid down about 3:45p and it was a nice run back to Louis', As I got near the north side of Jones Lake, I saw a pretty good school of birds working. I fumbled my way into a decent drift and popped a keeper red and 2 specks. I picked up another flock and popped two more specks and another slot red. I had to leave them biting so I could get home for Friday night HS football.
Tide was low today. It was incoming pretty good toward the end of the day when I came in. Water temp was mid to high 60s. Wind was pumping until late in the day and it really laid down nice. All fish caught on a psycho chicken. It's the one that is green on top and bone on the bottom. I don't know the name.
Nice afternoon. I'm hitting it again tomorrow.
