Mouth of highland

Got out to the mouth of highland leading into jones yesterday for a couple hours. I fished drop offs for the most part looking for flounder and all I could come up with were specks.

I threw mostly dark colors this trip. Texas Roach, plum, and pumpkinseed on a 1/8 oz. were what I had the best luck with. I threw glow and Texas red shad and didn't get a bump.

All fish were released.

HAR ! It happens again ..... You go looking for trout and all you catch are reds , or visa versa . Next time announce to anyone who will listen that you are venturing out for trout and reds ... Wink , wink , nudge , nudge . Big spots on the trout . It looks legal size .
