West Bay Memorial Weekend

Headed down to sea isle this weekend for the annual family reunion. We got some good fishing and I caught 2 solid reds wading in a south shoreline cove with a topwater. They really smashed it! We were able to stick 6 flatted over the weekend and caught 2 trout and a black drum drifting shrimp over a deep hole! It was a great weekend on the water with some family! Anybody know if there were any drownings at the pass? Heard sirens and saw life flight/ coast guard helicopters headed down there throughout the weekend. God bless!
