I parked by the toll booth and waded out near SLP this morning. Tide had pretty good movement until 9 or so. The wind laid down pretty nice right after sunup. Water was really pretty with good visibility. Overcast all morning. I caught 2 specks, one 22", the other 20" +/- 3 pounds each. Caugh them both on SuperSpooks. Both fish were on the edge of the gut, one on the far side (long cast) and one on the near side. Had two or three other blow ups and had another fish on momentarily. All in all a good morning.

I switched over to a plumtreuse assassin several times and switched back to the topwater because that was the only bait that was getting me any strikes. Also tried an old 51m mirrolure.

I like the grips. They have held up well. This is my second Tour Star rod. I bought them both at the fishing show a couple years back.
