  • Quick run this afternoon

Found a few fish even tho the potlickers would not leave me alone.

All caught on corky and spooks (black). Even the flounder. Drifting 2 ft of water over scattered shell. They were exploding the top water today.

Nice fish! I am brand new to the forum and very green at saltwater fishing. I am hooked though. I am heading out to San Luis Pass (Galveston side)to fish of the bank today with a buddy. This will be new to me because I normally fish under the lights at the RV park on the freeport side. I was planning on using a cork, treble hook and live shrimp. Any advice would be greatly appreciated on whether that is a good setup or if I should use artificial. Also if anyone knows a good spot for me to try I would love to try it out.

I will post my update after the trip.

Also, let me know if this is not the best thread to post this to. Thanks everybody!
