Monster Flatty
My buddy Ken caught this beauty in West Bay over the weekend. Slammed a lived mullet just after it hit the water. "I think I am on"... no sh!t. We put a few 15" and 16" flounder and a 15.5" trout in the photo just for scale

That thing must have had your pal wondering who had who . My best flounder was five or so pounds from a kayak and it ripped out line and bent my rod so as I thought it would break . When I got it in the kayak it thrashed and crashed around I was afraid it would fly out . I beat it in the head with the butt of my rod like a grunt with a viet cong in a dark jungle foxhole . I only made it mad . I threw myself on it like WATT on a fumble . I'd like to have seen it in the water and landed . Great fish !GEORGE A. BRANARD, COLOR SERGEANT, CO.
