Got an invite from one of my students to go down to Seadrift last night to Capt Chris Martin's ~~ Bay Flats Lodge.
We got down last night about 530 and checked in, the rooms at the lodge are great, the dinner was world class, bacon wrapped duck appetizer, salad, baked potato, green beans and ribeye cooked perfectly served with nice bottle of red wine and cheesecake for dessert.
Awoke to breakfast and coffee and ready to fish, overcast skies, light winds and low barometer, I had high hopes for one of those easy days.
Fished 3 spots and filled the igloo
I was home before 7 in Sugar Land
High 5's to the staff at Bay Flats Lodge, it's a 1st class operation
