Friday night. Water was dissapointednly off-color and the wind started to pick up late. We found one stretch of shoreline that was holding fish. My daughter is a rookie and had 2 big ones get of and my son in law who is usually very relyable landing his fish lost at least 4 but as a family trip we all had a great time. Thanks Sandy for having them.
We left kinda late and cruise the bayo on the way out and picked up one at 19" for a total of just nine fish.
We, or I also stabbed 2 Sheep heads. I forgot how hard they are to clean and will never poke 'em again.

Good work Bert, I didn't get to do any final gigging, so I may be done for the year. (early Dec. is not very good to me. Not too many places in the passes to gig).
Sheepies are no problem, no harder than a red or drum to clean. It is somewhat dissapointing how little meat you get from them though.

Dude I suck at cleaning fish that have big ribs like drum and you are right about the lack of meat from the sheep head. It's equal or less than the take from gafftop. It's just not worth it. I'll never keep either one again unless I'm starving.

Short vid of nina here.
She caught a 22 inch rubber lip but check out the classic girly-girl persona.

Thanks Sandy. I don't think they will ever forget it and I was proud of how Nina took to camp life.
