Sneekypete and me had Mjh meet us in sergeant and make the run to e.matty.Started out on the south shoreline in some drains. Fishing was slow but I managed a couple of slurps at the topwater. Made a couple of moves and still nothing, not much of a report and sorry no pics but it was a slow dog day.
Man the boats were out all over cant wait for the week it should be good two or three days after this front.:)

It's been a couple of slow days. i was in west galveston bay on Friday and only managed one flounder. Saturday I went to EMB and by 11 AM, I only had one small trout and was just about ready to quit, but decided to make a move to a drain like you did and found the trout in there. Ended up with six, with one just over 25". The bait I was using was a small paddle tail, swimming it above the grass. The NE winds had most of the bay off-color, but there was a sliver of fishable water along the flooded grass. You're right about the boats, they were everywhere.

I've heard that bird action has been the key lately in EMB. Flying or just sitting, don't pass em up! Still not as fun as working a drain I know, but WTH!

We saw plenty of birds but they were all small fish being caught.
