Went to the surf around 7:00 am to meet some neighbors and fish. One neighbor hit her limit of reds within an hour, I had my by 8:30. Caught a 30" which I released, 27", 24" and a 22". Also caught an 18" trout that I gave to another neighbor.

Live finger mullet in the first gut was the key.

Have fun if you get a chance to hit it.

VERY NICE! It would figure when I was down there the skies were opening up, and you could surf down the Blue Water Highway!

Good report! Did I tell you about the finger mullet in close this time of year? When I threw bait, I used to catch some very big trout that way.

Ooooooh yeaaaah, live finger mullet, hooked by the tail, fished in the 1st or 2nd gut was key for me....
