I fished n deer island yesterday. Tried in the lagoon and had a few hits but nothing in the net. Moved just outside the lagoon and picked up a lower slot red for the box. My visitor picked up a healthy 20" trout for the box as well. All the rest were throw back trout. Water was sandy but clear with streaks of mud. Great day to be outside.

I was out around Oxen Bayou mid day water was nice up in the bayou few hits managed a couple of flounder
