Karcher Pressure Washer Help

I inherited this karcher pressure washer 4400G model. I used it a couple of times and notice there was water spraying out of the hose.-not just the gun. Tried patching it up the Texas way, (duct tape) and now the darn thing is totally screwed. I went to Wal Mart and had to be disinfected on the way out all for a replacement hose that does not fit the gun but does fit the pressure washer. What do i do now? Can I use the replacement hose and a gun by another manufacture? Will it fit or do I have to buy a karcher gun?:ack2:

I have a spare Karcher gun that will fit I think if you want to come by and get it. I have one spare in Houston at my shop and one here at the beach.
......Or go by Northern tool with the hose and find a gun to fit it.
