I have 3 buddies with boats and could not get one to go out on Sunday. Wish I had because there were some guys in a boat that were tearing up the trout right in front of me. I ended up with 3 fishing from the shore around Seabrook. Caught on chart gulp v-tails. Guess I need some more friends with boats that can fish Sundays.

Considering that I tried Sat and Sun and caught ZIP/ZERO/NADA from the boat and you caught 3 w/o a boat, you don't need a boat!!!!!! (and neither do I since I didn't catch any!!!). If you had a boat, heck you'd empty the bay and we'd be still trying to catch a fish!!
Good going there FP!! I am jealous!

Me too. I caught fish Saturday and ZERO Sunday. It was a great day but the fish had lockjaw. It's that special "juice" that he drinks.

I just know where to find them this time of year and it also happens to be my backyard. The 2 guys in the boat probably limited out in about 3 hours.

Oh yeah and the "juice" helps also.

We shot nothing Sunday... The cold front had everything laying low... We lost 3" of water after the front blew across the bay... I was worried I wasn't going to be able to get out of the area we were hunting... Boat had no problem though :D

Ok...
W.O.T. with me and full tank of gas = 28 MPH
2 guys (200+ lbs each), 2 dogs (150 lbs total), ice, beer, fuel, decoys etc... = 24 MPH in deep water (ICW)
With the 2 guys in the boat we ran from Teakwood, down the causeway to the ICW, down the ICW towards Greens Cut, went into Karankawa Lake hunted.... Motored around to get the decoys, ran out of Karankawa went all the way up into Greens Lake turned around and came back all the way into Harbor Walk... We filled up with 3.5 GA and then ran back to Teakwood. Tank holds 9GA.
