Nice catch. Ive never caught one, but I know lots of people who did when I was living in North Carolina.

I used to catch them in the Mississippi south of New Orleans, along with reds, trout, flounder, and some hybrids mixed in too. Congrats!

Cool there Ynggn. Not bad at all. Most are caught in Trinity near HL&P plant. What a thrill that was I bet. Sure is fun catching an unexpected quality fish.

Did you catch that in the lake or in the creek? When I lived in Nassau Bay I caught lots of largemouth bass in the lake. The hurricane ran salt water through the lake so the bass and perch population is probably going to take a while to recover in there.
