Quick Evening Trip 12/22

Went to upper bay shell and caught two 24"-25" trout. The tide was way above normal with the pumping onshore wind and new moon.
The fish seem to like the Catch 2000 jr. I've been throwing... pretty shallow, maybe 3 feet, incoming tide, water temp 56 degrees. I lost the third trout, a bigger fish that got off almost at the boat.

You can throw jigs but I catch bigger fish on Mirrolures & Corkys.

Thanks for the report Kenny. Yesterday afternoon was nice out there with the light winds and warmer temps. The tides were definatly a little on the high side which made one of my coves a little deeper than I like this time of year. Could not even wade out to the middle of it like normal.

Wish I had a dollar for everytime I've heard that statement(or had it happen)...I'd be billfishing out of Kona by now. :D
