left out of GYB this morning around 9 am
had my brother and nephew from Conroe with me
south wind was steady 10 - 15
headed out to the boat cut to join the black drum fleet
HARD incoming tide had some fresh caught crab...28 - 30 ft of water
boat in front of me catchin... boat beside me catchin....
3 hours later we left the boat cut with nada....
moved to another spot up the channel and first bait down:smash:
50 pound black drum biggest fish my brother has ever caught:D
followed by another 40 - 50 pounder for my nephew his biggest ever:D
then the nephew hooks a 40 pounder on a trout rod wit 10 # test fought it about 30 mins:eek:
we moved to a nearby reef and and boxed 5 nice redfish all 25- 26 ":D:D guess i should have entered the black drum tourny..all in all great day back at GYB at 5...

Very nice...I've got to get my 8 year old on some of those big uglies before they quit running...I'll probably need to tie him in the boat, they weigh almost as much as he does!!
