Thought it would be neat to see what everyone floats. I try to keep it simple as I hate to carry stuff. Here's mine:

Dang, you carry as much in a yak as I carry in a boat. Only thing I have that you don't is a couple of big ice chests. Nice looking set-up.

At first glance I thought you said Tampons, but then it wouldn't be new if it looked like that!

I second the motion on simple! Mine is rigged similar to yours. The one pictured in my avatar was my first yak. How do you like the "modular" rod attachment system?

I'm a little embarrassed as I did not know the little bungee in the middle of the kayak was for holding down a small tackle organizer............. I usually put it behind my seat in a milk crate......

Took mine to the State Park on the South shoreline last Saturday and scratched out one flounder and a couple of missed rat reds. Lesson learned AGAIN about kayaking in strong wind....

Welcome to the board!..

Been a while, so I thought I would start this up again since I have seen more and more yaks on the water.

 While I'm at it, how about a kayak rigging forum? It's easy to rig your own and saves you money :D!

Nice rig..and new !! Mine is all beat up, but , it's been used alot. Get a soft sided cooler, may I suggest, one for drinks and one for fish. put them in the tank well. Works for me. :)

Thanks plugger,

What you see is an old picture. After 10 months of fishing twice a week, the yak has some "battle wounds". The bag behind the seat is a cooler for my drinks and the stringer has been replaced with a fish bag as I got tired of dragging a stringer around :ack2:. Great suggestions and ones that every kayaker should heed.

Where are all the pics?????

I posted a pic of my Malibu Extreme a while back, But My wifes 2010 Native Manta Ray 14 is a sweet ride. Its kinda like a Luxury Liner. By the way if anyone is fishing the Hole near mosqito Island and hooks up to the umbrella let me know.
