Nautico Catamaran questions....

So my boat search is still goin on... I got an e-mail today from a guy who asked if i was interested in trading for a 2000 nautico 17ft flats catamaran hull with a 2005 40hp 4 stroke.

Anyone have experience with these?

I don't know anything about Nautico Cats...I have a 16 half Cat that I love as I can run as skinny as anything I have ever been in. If it is a 17 footer I would want more than 40hp on back personally. I run a Yami 70 2 stroke that peaks at about 33-35mph, gets enough jump for really good hole shot too...

I think there are a couple more guys on here that run small cats as well...I would also get their input on at least the engine size let alone the brand

I have a 17' Flatscat with a 90 Yamaha 2-stroke and it runs about 30 knts @4000 rpm.
