Was in Choc Bay at daylight. Water looked good. Drifted the spoil banks hard. Between me and my Buddy we kept a total of ten trout. Released probably half a dozen reds. All of the trout we kept were 16-18 inchers.
Caught alot of throwbacks, could not find any big girls. Off the water at noon thirty. All trout caught on pump/char sand eels with a few caught on black magic. Caught the reds on topwaters & eels both. Looks like there were quite a few people that took advantage of the great weather...saw a good number of boats for a Friday. Also, the water in the bayou was...well...Chocolate.
