Tough Fishing This Afternoon

Breezy onshore wind and strong outgoing tide this afternoon.I just couldn't gey much going. Caught two 5-6# reds on a Shedog in shin deep water. I really couldn't locate any concentrations of bait or trout in the coves. The water temp is back in the mid 70's and probably has the fish as confused as I am!:confused:
Birds are still working but mostly over sandies and small specks it seems.

On a positive note, dinner was very good.......dang my wife is a good cook!

Thats crazy!!!!! Today they were just completly in shut down mode. It was the same aswell, just couldn't get things going and really never felt comfortable in any of the spots I fished. Bait activity was very weak! The coves I fished had fish in them as I seen plenty in the back of the coves. Just one of those days where the fish win :)
