Just spent a goodly amount of my morning time going through the site. Nice! A Texas Coastal Angler could feel at home in these forums.
Read a bunch of interesting posts, saw a bunch of familier handles, and learned a bunch of new coastal fishing info. I'm looking forwards to spending some time on this place; learning more and maybe making some new, online freindships.
However, and please note, I do in fact own the water I'm fishing in; so, if you see me on the coast conduct yourselves accordingly. :D

Tim, it's great to see you over here!! I have actually mentioned you a few times recently. I can assure you that you will find this site much more "user friendly" than some of the others out there. Over the years of guiding, you were one of the coolest customers that I ever fished with. Pulling out that pink Corky at SLP....I'm such a die hard topwater fool, I never even tried it.
I don't know if I remember correctly, but what is your degree in? For some reason, I thought it was related to biology.
Looking forward to your input and stories. Let's go fishing!!

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys! I hope to contribute to the board.
Hey Capt. Steve, I enjoyed the trips together, and I even learned some of the things you were trying to show me ... atleast I think I did! I'm still an aquatic biologist, and I hope to fish with you again. Just not this week! But I should see you at the fishing show.
Everybody stay warm, and let's cross our collective fingers that the fish kill won't be as bad as 89'.

Welcome !! A sense of humor is always a good thing. Post up your fishing trips so we can live vicariously as we can't be on YOUR water !! :)
