We bought a fishing cabin in Sea Isle just before Ike hit and it survived. We have gotten it in livable shape so now we are trying to figure out this fishing thing. My wife fished the West Bay back in the 80's and we have ventured over to Karakawa several times since buying our Carolina Skiff this past summer. My wife and youngest son are corky's but my oldest son and I are trying to get a handle on using lures. We also utilized the newly re-opened Sea Isle pier just prior to Christmas and landed several fish. I am glad to have foung the site!

Welcome! There are some great people on this site and I'm sure that you will find the assistance needed to learn West Bay. Quite a few old salts, a handful of very reputable guides and even a biologist or two mixed in for good measure. Enjoy.
