so i emailed texas parks and wildlife as to why no cleanup or anything is being done at gisp, i havent seeen a change in anything since ive been down there..pretty sad considering all the workers down in the area with only one or two rv. parks to stay at, they could be banking right now..was told it will passed on to someone higher up, will post up the reply when i get it..anyone else think this is pretty sad??

Things are moving in slow motion down here. Some folks are still not back in their homes and there are still big debris piles all up and down 3005. TxDot did a heck of a job clearing the road after the storm though.
It'll happen, just probably not a priority for TP&W.

There is debris all over the nature preserve / wildlife sanctuary between pirates and laffites along the S. Shoreline of W.Bay any idea who manages that land? I am trying get in contact with someone to setup a cleanup
