I just did a walk to the bottomland here looking for hog rootings. Didn't see no fresh signs of them, but my west lake was full of mallards.:)

I was thinking of learning the public land hunting thing next year. Doing preseason scouting and all of that. Give it a shot though, you are done with your classes for now and have a lot more free time than I do. I have a feeling it ain't easy though.

ya, i think im gonna head out to a spot for a week and camp and just cut myself off from the world and see what i see. the cool thing about that permit is how much land you can utilize for any kind of hunting or fishing.
