Hit up the defcon-5 level ultra secret spot with a friend to try and put him on some flatfish. Things looked good as beds were abound. Little did I know I was about to get schooled. :)

We've walked for about 5 minutes and he finds a keeper. Unfortunately he had forgotten his gig, so he goes in for some hand-to-hand combat and pulls out the knife

Ended the evening with two keepers for myself as well

Well turns out his first gigged fish beats my PBs for both fishing and gigging. Sow taped out at 22" and some change.

She was still in the process of swallowing a big finger mullet.

Nows the time to break out your favorite rod and flounder jig, walk up on a flounder, and dangle the bait... :D
