Last night my grandfather, father and I took a night trip out to Chocolate Bay. We fished from Horsegrove up to the bayou. Not a lot to report.

We fished live bait, dead bait, spoons, Gulp and Devil Eyes. We tried both with lights and without.

After six hours (8pm-2am) of fishing, my grandfather managed an undersized red and "keeper" flounder. My dad caught a last minute red in the bayou. Not much action on my part.

I plan on taking a few more of the trips when the water is scheduled to have better movement. It was nice being out there in the quiet darkness of the bay.
