Man, my second stop this morning was the ticket. I think the over cast, thunder heads and crazy NW wind this morning really turned on the fish. I had 14-15 trout to 4# between 8:00-10:00.
Unfortunately not one on top. They all came on jigs with darker plastic. A Norton sand eel core shot that's rootbeer inside and translucent green outside took most of the fish.
It was slicking everywhere........

Yep I was out later (around 11) just running the boat and making sure the new water pump was working properly. The overcast skies and that N wind sure was nice for a change.
