it seems the topwater action is not what it should be this year... I just started fishing tops about 2 years ago, but it seems something is different this year... although I caught my PB trout this year already on a skitterwalk... the action has definitely been more with the soft plastics or corkys this year... which sucks because I would rather catch 1 or 2 solid trout on top then 10 on SP... anyone had any solid days on top lately?

chuka,chuka,chuka...woosh! you know the feeling!!!:hooked:hooked 4 life!!!http://images.cabelas.com/is/image/cabelas/s7_119458_renderset_01?$main-Small$

Man...I've been hammering 'em on Pink Skitterwalks. You must be doing something wrong.

don’t get me wrong... that’s all I usually fish... it’s very hard for me to even make the switch... and I have been catching alot of fish, but it seems slower this year than previous... pink, and white skitters are my go to... :)

Pink, White & Black are good choices...

For those looking to learn a bit more about Topwater Baits and Fishing them, I'd first read this article posted by Capt. Greg Francis ( www.saltwaterassault.net )

I don't know...but it all depends on the location and the day.

I've caught more fish on top this year than i have this early in a year ever.
