Had a tough bite today at the pass. Water looked like crap early but started getting green on the south shoreline and in areas behing Bird Island after 1pm. Waded at the pass for 30 minutes with no blowups. Decided to make a move further east down the south shoreline were we located some nice Trout to 24" but not many. I think we ended the day with 7 to 9 Trout. We had alot of missed fish today and even donated a few to the local West Bay Sharks. It was definatly a grind out there today. My guys worked thier arses off.
If anyone catches a big Jack at the pass with about 150 yards of line attatched to him with a plum Bass Assassin poke his eyes out for me please LOL.

Its a 24' Kenner texjam.

Well glad someone got out. I was going to head there for an afternoon wade, but had some family issues that took way longer than expected. Looks like Tuesday at the earliest for me now.

Hey man
Glad you posted up. Bone Super Spook jr, black Super Spook Jrs been working well. Then my always famous plum char Assassins been working. I found some good fish yesterday but I caught the tail end of the bite there. We are gonna be there first thing in the morning. I got a feeling this spot is gonna be on fire tomorrow morning :D. I'll call you in a after while.

That's just what I heard .....

And on 12lb test and a 6'6" rod .... that stupid Jack faught harded than redfish that day .....

me and sneekypete were in the area yesterday after noon near the big green house we grinded 3 hours nothing to show. but man it looked promising! i bet this a.m it was on!
