Billy, how do I go about getting you to fix one of my Stix? I let a buddy try in out cause he was thinking about getting one and he slipped and fell and broke about 3 inches off the tip (just the below the second eye).:( He also lost the butt cap, I don't know how. This all took about 10 minutes. He wants to pay for the repairs so I can't be too mad at him, chit happens.

It's a 7ft rod can you make it a 6'6"? I know it will be stiffer, but that will be fine. How do I send it to you?

Thanks
Derek

Derek, I have a brand new one that needs to go back as well. How about I provide the tube and spilt the cost of shipping?

That sux. I won't let ANYONE use my Billystix just for that same reason. They can watch me cast it or the can hold the thing, but they aint fishing with my best rig!!

Thanks Billy!! Enjoyin' the rod very much.

I was the same way, but is was my oldest Stix and not my only one. I was using my "Best Rig". I'd let few people use one of mine, and now maybe no one....;)

BTW Congrats on 500!:)

Bad week for rods. My girlfriend shut the car door on my castaway last weekend while going to meet Coe.

I think we should have moment of silence, and think about the rods we've lost to unforseen events.

I agree, lord knows if I had the money for everyone I've broken or had broken over the years.........I'd be a rich man....

Do the Stix have a warranty? Obviously not for some of the retarded stuff we do, but for an actual break.

hi guys
sorry i havent replied but i have had the last 3 weeks rough, work related stress, stomach stress, and finnally my dang computer was giving me a problem, i found out i was close to having a melt down due to almost no memory ectc so i was advised it would be just as cheap to invest in a new computer as it would be to rebuff and repower my old one, so i went ahead and got the new one, well it seems it takes fourty forevers to get a new one dialed in and set like you want it, i have just about got it the way i want it now i think.
it truly is a lot faster and seems to be better now in many ways, course i am no better at the dang thang but i learn something new every day :ack2:
so perhaps in a couple weeks i will be up to par.thinking about giving up the rod building and going back to fishinnnn instead.
later---stix:)
