Has anyone heard any reviews about them? Looks to be the same reel as the core just an ounce heavier and about 50 bucks cheaper. If I can find a good deal on ebay I might sell some old tackle and pick one up.

Yeah that's the one. I would get the D7 if I were to get it. I would like to fish with one though first, I dont know how that big gear box is going to feel.
