Fishing Forecast this Weekend? (6-28/29)

First off I would like to say howdy to all and this looks like its going to be a cool forum! I like region specific forums. I can't wait to meet y'all in person.

With all the wind how do y'all think fishing will be around Galveston this weekend? Is it worth dragging my boat down there from the Woodlands? I love to go out but with Gas being 4 a gallon i have to be choosy....

The fish are always there somewhere. Some of my best days in west bay are on days and nights with 20-25mph wind. It makes it hard to fish, but the wind seems to push baitfish into certain areas. There are a lot of coves and eco tubes that provide wind breaks! Good luck, hope to see you on the island sometime.

Turns out it was a moot point because when I went to get my boat out of storage the bearing in the right rear tire were so far gone the hub was about to fall off and I spent all saturday fixing that :-( I dunno how that happpend? The grease still looked good and I proactively replaced them all last summer....Whou knows?

Did you get out this weekend? Catch anything? Got any honey holes you want to show me :)

You invited me to this forum from 2cool. I am 32V GT over there. I haven't had a chance to come down there yet :( but I am planning to this weekend and I will definitely call you before hand! I have never been gigging but I would love to give it a try!
