Thinking of getting a Riffe E-75 for my first gun. Will be rig and weed line diving 20 miles off Freeport. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

 Awesome gun. I shoot a Metaltech 4 and like it a lot. I am a big fan of the open muzzles and looks like the Euro has the same style one that the MT does. I like how you can make your own bands and how easy it is to switch them out. The E-75 is a 100cm gun, just the right size for offshore gulf diving. Riffe makes some nice guns.

You gonna use a floatline or reel with it?

Good plan. I've been wanting to try a reel. Float line take up more room on the boat, takes longer to put out and take in, limits you to the down-current side of rigs, and can be a hassle in the water. However, it is sure nice being able to drop that gun at times.
I may try the reel sometime, but it will be on a cheaper gun than a Riffe!
