View Full Version : Good Topwater Bite This Morning

I caught seven trout on the jimmy houston SS jr. this morning between 6:30-8:00. Had two over 5# I let go, and kept five for the grease!

When I got home I went to the surf and caught two more fish before a shark got the Shepup!

Nice fish...I got up at 5 and went to work instead of fishing dammit! That she pup has been working for me lately too.

You really had to trick fu*k 'em to get the blowup. Really slow & erratic with long pauses. Funny, the same thing was working in the surf! Both trout I caught were with the topwater sitting 30+ seconds bobbing in the waves. (The surf was coming up this morning).
