Went for a wade on the S. shoreline in the drizzling rain around 2:00. Had one blow up and that was it. I tried another cove with no luck. The tide was extremely high and the water was green.
I saw it clearing to the North so I hit the North shoreline. The finger reefs were holding bait. After a few cast I had a hard strike, hit & run. Almost jerked the rod out of my hand. I'm thinking big trout but turned out to be a nice red.
I tried tops with no takes, but the char/slvr/wht Catch 2000 jr. was the ticket. The trout were in deeper water on the point of the reef. Very aggressive bite for a short time. Three fish over 5#released.
Monte knows where I was........

Nice work
The north side of the bay seems to be where the trout are holding
