so I was planning on going down to slp friday morning after I hit up the 61st pier in the wee hours, but just looked at the forecast for tomorrow and seems like the beachfront should be flat and green-ish. So im wondering if i should make that trip to slp or try the beachfront. Any ideas?

Tough choice. Tomorrow's the last day SLP's gonna be non-crowded before Memorial Day weekend. But tomorrow's also the last day of calm surf before the hellish wind comes back Saturday. Don't even know what I would do.

The surf is still a little rough today. I'd cut 'em off at the pass!

ended up going to the beachfront. caught a nice 18-20" on my first cast. Around 730am, then NOTHING else. Went to SLP a little bit later...nothing! and managed 1 more speck in the same size range off of sportsmans...on dead shrimp fished on bottom. A few great pulls. Used just shrimp under cork. I wish I found them!
