Last Week

I've had a pretty good week fishing (by my standards :D)

Early in the week the surf was calm, green, and perfect. Didn't find any trout (heard several reports of good catches), but the puppy drum were thick, and there were plenty of sheephead and reds too. Got cut off by some spanish macks and saw them hitting bait.

Later in the week the wind and waves kicked up, so I headed bay side for a few trips and caught trout.

Glad I stocked up the freezer because that wind is kicking up again :D

That red is fat! Nice fish. Those macks are a good sign it's about to start heating up on the beachfront. I can't wait!
