How is the fishing up the bayou?

Has anyone been fishing up past Lute's. I have a kayak and want to stay out of the wind. Should be salty enough with this drought.

What did you end up doing last time you asked? Did you get to fish bayou?

Decided to go night fishing around pirates canal houses. Ended up with 2 keeper reds and 3keeper trout.
