Decided to make a run down to the bay this afternoon. On the way i got a call from Bouy37 informing me of his slow day up the bayou. I got to the ramp about 3 and headed south.
Made my way over towards the eastside of the bay, saw several other boats trying to dodge the wind. With several boats on the east shoreline, i eased out towards the end of long reef. Set up on a drift and it wasent long before i saw one area with a little more bait flippin. I adjusted my drift and a few casts later i was awarded with a 21 inch trout.
Made 3 drifts thru the same area and picked up one more trout about 15 inches.
The fog started to roll in so i called it a afternoon. Off the water by 6.
