We called off the trip the night before, but after waking up and seeing that the conditions weren't as bad as they called for, we decided to head down for an afternoon wade.

Got to the cove around 3 and fished till dark. It was a slow grind to say the least. The conditions were just about perfect...clean water, moving tide, bait in the cove...just no fish. I don't know what the deal was. We caught a few undersized reds and flounder, but these are the only three fish we could string.

It was good to get back out on the water...it's been a while.

Nice Slam! We had the same deal, good conitions and found bait, just couldnt get many to bite. Thanks for the report.

Two stringers or one doesn't matter: One person or two... you both wade in at the same place, yall fish the same area, yall clean the fish at the same place, group effort or not nice catch! :D

Hell if it wasn't for me...clark08 would still be stuck up there bass fishing, thinking it couldn't get any better.:D

Not a bad catch for a short trip. I'm thinking things will be heating up shortly.
