.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.
Strong north winds of 20 to 30 knots and seas up to 10 feet will be possible through late this afternoon or evening. As a result, a Small Craft Advisory remains in effect. Conditions will improve heading into Tuesday with winds weakening and shifting to the east. Onshore flow continues into Wednesday with rainfall chances increasing late Wednesday into Thursday as a storm system develops offshore.
